Sometimes I just want to get in there and smear a drawing around with a big chunk of charcoal. I was in that mood tonight when I realized that I have also thought about putting a mermaid in my bathroom for the longest time. There is one bare wall left that really needs a mermaid hanging on it... And here she is.

Back on the scene
You may have noticed my 3 week break from art-making... Well, that's because I was in China - (FINALLY!) completing the adoption of my beautiful daughter!!You can check out our adoption journey on our blog site: www.art4adoption.com.

Popular American rock band The Verve Pipe recently performed two concerts at The Ark, one show targeted for a younger family audience, and one intended for adults. After their performances, we hung out in the green room with lead singer Brian Vander Ark and drummer Donny Brown.
