The Summer of Art

I had a blast teaching a self-portrait summer workshop at Lansing Art Gallery for a group of 15 local kids. They were as hilarious as they were talented and hardworking. They even burned some extra energy by finishing my LAG Animal ArtVenture grant show community mural, just in time before the exhibition ends next week. I'm so impressed with these amazing kids! Kate Cosgrove is a storyteller through art & words. Her debut Picture Book AND THE BULLFROGS SING was published in 2019 by Holiday House. Cosgrove is a 2016 Barbara Deming Grant recipient and a 2011 Individual Artist Grant Recipient, ACGL. She has exhibited in galleries and online, with collectors across the globe.
